Requirements to study for prospective students from abroad

In order to be able to start or continue a degree course in Germany, the school or university qualifications acquired so far must be recognised. The anabin platform of the Central Office for Foreign Education provides information on the comparability and recognition of foreign educational qualifications.  

If it is not an international degree programme, some of which are offered in English, sufficient German language skills may become an additional requirement. Prospective students can attend a preparatory language course to meet these requirements. It is possible to obtain a visa for attending a language course in Germany. 

Foreign prospective students can prepare comprehensively for their studies and attend language courses at the Saxony-Anhalt State College of Studies.
