Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs
The Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder (Kultusministerkonferenz, KMK) is the association of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder. They are responsible for education and training, higher education and research, and cultural affairs. The Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs coordinates and develops education throughout the Federal Republic of Germany.
