In Saxony-Anhalt there is a wide range of institutions and projects that offer training in intercultural competence and dealing with diversity. In addition, there is the possibility of hiring freelance trainers.
Training courses for companies
As part of the model project DiAA - Demokratie in Arbeit und Ausbildung [DiAA Democracy in Work and Training] run by Auslandsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt e.V., trainees, employees and managers of small and medium-sised enterprises have been sensitised and supported with regard to intercultural openness, diversity and anti-discrimination since September 2021.
MitWirkung! [To great effect] is a working area of the Halle Saalkreis Volunteer Agency and is aimed at companies with offers for targeted human resource development according to the concept of "learning in foreign living and working environments".
In the project Anhalts. (Anhaltspunkt) of the regional network of migrant organisation of Saxony-Anhalt (LAMSA e.V.), democratic forces in the world of work are strengthened and diversity is sustainably promoted. The project is aimed at small and medium-sised enterprises and vocational schools.
DRIFT: Hand in Hand im Betrieb – Haltung zeigen. Kollegiales Miteinander stärken [Hand in Hand in the Company – Showing attitude. Strengthening collegial cooperation] supports small and medium-sized companies and vocational schools in developing a diversity- and commitment-conscious corporate culture. The focus is on opportunities for collective co-determination and representation of interests in the company. The project sponsor is Arbeit und Leben Sachsen-Anhalt gGmbH. The project ends in December 2024.
