Integration Act
The Integration Act was passed in 2016. It included both rights and obligations. Refugees with good prospects of remaining in Germany have access to various government support programmes. According to the law, they are also obligated to actively seek integration themselves. If asylum seekers refuse integration measures or the obligation to cooperate, state benefits can be reduced.
