Guidance through the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is used in all state language programmes. The language level of the learners is determined by means of a test. The knowledge of a language is thus described in accordance with the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

If you want to determine the level of your language skills, you can also do this with a self-test, such as the one the Goethe-Institut offers online.
