In 2017 the Competence Centre for Immigration in the funding programme "Integration through Qualification (IQ)" published the brochure "The labour market integration of female refugees: Facts, figures and international experiences", which focuses in particular on the situation of female refugees in Germany.

In 2017 the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees pointed out in its brief analysis "Female refugees in Germany: Language, education and the labour market" (2017) that female refugees face multiple disadvantages in the labour market. These include, on average, lower qualifications and less professional experience, low participation in language learning and family responsibilities.

The "DaMigra — Dachverband für Migrantinnen*organisationen" (umbrella organisation for migrant women's organisations) has as part of the MUT project published the brochure My. Your. Our rights. A small guide for women with experience of being refugees" on the rights of women with a refugee background. Among other things, it provides information on the employment and custody rights of female refugees in Germany. The brochure is currently available in twelve languages, including English, Arabic, Romanian and Russian.
