Residency requirement
The fixed abode requirement applies to asylum seekers and tolerated individuals who receive social benefits. It comes into force after expiry of the residency obligation. Those affected by the requirement may not change their place of residence. The federal states can decide whether the fixed abode requirement should only apply to the federal state or also to districts and cities.
