Recognition Act
With the Recognition Act, qualified specialists from abroad have a right to a state review of whether their vocational qualifications acquired abroad can be recognised as equivalent to the respective German reference vocational qualifications. The outcome of the review can be "full equivalence", "partial equivalence" or "rejection", this helps make the assessment of the foreign vocational qualification more transparent.
